Returns Policy
Every piece that leaves my bench has been made specifically for you. Because of that, returns work differently here than they do in standard retail. Please read the following carefully — and if you have any questions, reach out directly.
Bespoke Commissions
All bespoke commissions — including all custom engagement rings and wedding bands — are final sale. They are not eligible for return, exchange, or credit of any kind.
Every bespoke piece is designed and made entirely to your specifications. From the metal choice to the stone, the setting to the finish — each decision is made collaboratively and deliberately before a single gram of metal is touched. Because your piece is created for no one else, it cannot be returned.
This is why the process matters so much. I work closely with every client from the first conversation through to final approval — so that the piece I make is exactly the piece you envisioned.
Collection Pieces
For eligible collection pieces, we accept returns within 14 days of the date the item was received.
To be eligible for a return, items must:
- Be unworn and in original condition
- Be returned in original packaging, undamaged
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase
Returns are at the buyer’s expense. We recommend using a tracked and insured service. Please do not send anything without contacting us first — all return logistics are arranged directly.
To initiate a return, email info@benjaminrose.com.au with your order details and reason for return. Once received and inspected, an exchange, store credit, or refund will be issued.
Order Cancellations
When an Order May Be Cancelled
We reserve the right to cancel an order or the delivery of an order by written notice. Where this occurs, any payment received will be refunded in full.
We may cancel an order where:
- Payment has not been received or confirmed
- The item is no longer available
- The price was displayed incorrectly at the time of purchase
- We are no longer trading
- The order has been identified as high fraud risk by our payment systems
Orders flagged as high fraud risk will not be fulfilled. This measure exists to protect both our clients and our business. If your order is cancelled for this reason and you believe it to be an error, please contact us directly at info@benjaminrose.com.au.
Manufacturing Faults
If Something Isn’t Right
Every piece is carefully inspected before it leaves the studio. In the rare event that you believe your piece has a manufacturing fault, please contact me as soon as possible at info@benjaminrose.com.au with your order details, a description of the issue, and clear photographs.
Once assessed, I will arrange a repair at no cost to you. In the unlikely event of a major manufacturing fault, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply.
For more information on your consumer rights, visit accc.gov.au.
